Caramelized Pear and Blue Cheese Bruschetta

This dish makes a wonderful snack or appetizer. Sounds really fancy, and tastes that way too. I'll let you in on a secret... It's super easy. I mean easier than an ice-box pie.

You'll Need:
1 French Baguette
1 Box of Blue Cheese Crumbles
2 Pears (I used green ones)
Olive Oil
Brown Sugar

1) Cut up the baguette into slices. Mine were about an inch thick, but I would go a little more thin than pictured (You live and you learn).
2) Heat a large skillet over medium heat and pour in some olive oil. Toast both sides of each bread slice to your desired level of doneness.
3) After that, set the slices on the platter or tray you plan on serving them on.
4) Add blue cheese crumbles to the bread slices.
5) Cut your pears into thin slices. Add brown sugar to whatever olive oil remains, and cook pears until brown and soft.
6) Transfer pears directly from the skillet to the bread! Voila! Done! Bon Appetit!
